What a transfer bond is
A transfer bond isn't a different product — it's the same bail bond you'd get from us in Miami, just posted by a different set of hands. In Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Monroe, our own appointed agent goes to the jail directly. Everywhere else — the rest of Florida, and the rest of the country — we work through our surety's network to connect with a licensed local agent who posts the bond on our behalf, under the same agreement, the same terms, and the same responsibility Faroy holds in every county we serve.
The only thing that changes is who physically walks the paperwork into the jail. The call you make, the person who answers, the premium you're quoted, the documents you sign, and who's accountable if something goes wrong — none of that changes.
How it works
- You call us. (305) 642-1986, day or night, wherever the arrest happened.
- We confirm the details. Facility, charges, bond amount if one's been set — same intake process regardless of county or state.
- We arrange the posting. If it's Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, or Monroe, our own agent heads to the jail. Anywhere else, we connect with a licensed local agent through our surety network who posts it for us, same day whenever possible.
- You deal with us the whole time. Payment, paperwork, and questions all go through Faroy — not the local agent, not a call center.
Why this matters
Some families worry that a bond posted outside our home counties is somehow a lesser service, or that they're being handed off to a stranger. That's not how it works. Faroy remains the licensed agent of record and the point of contact from the first call to the final discharge, no matter which county or state the bond is posted in.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does it cost more if the arrest happened outside Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, or Monroe?
+
Premiums are set by state regulation, generally 10% of the bond amount with a $100 minimum. Reach out for an exact quote based on your specific situation.
Will it take longer than a local Miami bond?
+
It can vary by facility, distance, and how quickly a local agent can get there — but we move immediately once details are confirmed, the same way we do everywhere. We can give you a realistic estimate once we know the jail involved.
Am I working with Faroy, or with someone else?
+
You're working with Faroy from the first call through the final paperwork. The agent who physically posts the bond in another county or state is acting on our behalf, under our agreement with you.
Do you cover every state?
+
Through our nationwide surety network, yes — we can arrange bonds for loved ones held in facilities across the country.
